Rosemary A. Loehr counsels clients from presuit investigations through trial and appeal. Her practice focuses on commercial claims, defamation, employment discrimination and retaliation, and civil rights.
Prior to joining Charlson Bredehoft Cohen Brown & Nadelhaft, Ms. Loehr completed two federal appellate clerkships on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, first with the Honorable Nancy L. Moritz and then with the Honorable Harris L Hartz. She also worked as a staff attorney on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. On the other side of the bench, Ms. Loehr practiced commercial litigation at private firms, representing both plaintiffs and defendants across state and federal courts. Her commercial litigation experience includes ERISA, insurance recovery, trademark, trade secrets, and contract disputes.
An experienced appellate attorney, Ms. Loehr approaches every case by mapping out forward-looking strategies that will set up her clients for success through the life of the litigation. When moving a case forward day-to-day, she draws on her experience managing discovery, deposing witnesses, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and taking cases to trial.
Ms. Loehr received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where she was a teaching fellow for Contracts and Constitutional Law, an editor on the Environmental Law Review, and an intern for the Honorable John L. Kane of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
In her spare time, Ms. Loehr can be found outdoors either training for her next long-distance race or backpacking through a domestic or international mountain range.
